Things to do
Hotel Omega is only a stone throw away from the famous Vondel Park and the Museum Square. Several famous museums like the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijks Museum can be found in this area.
The nightlife area at the Leidseplein and the beautiful and characteristic canal belt of Amsterdam can be reached easily on foot and will take you approx. 10 minutes walking.
Shopping
The exclusive P.C. Hooftstraat and Van Baerlestraat, both of which are in close proximity to the hotel, are two important shopping streets. The famous Albert Cuyp daily market is at close range of the hotel.
Corporate travellers
Due to the Hotel Omega’s excellent location in a quiet street near the Vondelpark on the south side of the city centre (Amsterdam Zuid), the main business centres like RAI Convention Centre and the WTC are in close range of the hotel and about 5 minutes drive from the hotel.
Public Transport
A tram stops almost in front of the Hotel Omega and will take you to Central Station or any other corner of the city centre of Amsterdam. A shuttle service is available from and to the airport and can be booked at the Connexxion Shuttle service desk at the Airport (Schiphol). A taxi can be booked at around 35,00 Euro for a one-way ride.
Car Parking
The hotel does not have its own parking facilities, but you can park your car in the street in front of the hotel at a charge of approximately €3,50 per hour (subject to change).
A paid public parking garage is at 1 minutes walking distance just behind Hotel Omega on the Museum Square and Royal Concert Hall.
