Things to do
The Omega Hotel is only a stone throw away from the famous public garden Vondel Park and the Museum Square, a square that is bordered by several famous museums like the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijks Museum.
The nightlife area 'Leidseplein' and the city's beautiful and characteristic ring of canals can also be easily reached. On foot it will take you approx. 10 minutes.
Shopping
The exclusive P.C. Hooftstraat and Van Baerlestraat, both of which are in close proximity to the hotel, are two important shopping streets.
Corporate travellers
Due to the hotels' excellent location in a quiet street near the Vondelpark on the south side of the city centre the main business centres like RAI Convention Centre and the WTC in close range of the hotel and about 5 minutes from the hotel.
Public Transport
A tram stops almost in front of the hotel, which can take you to Central Station or all the other famous attractions in the city centre of Amsterdam.
A shuttle service is available from and to the airport and can be booked at the Connexxion Shuttle service desk at the Airport (Schiphol). A taxi can be booked at 33 euro for a one-way ride.
Car Parking
The hotel does not have its own parking facilities, but you can park your car in the street in front of the hotel at a charge of approximately €3,50 an hour (subject to change).
A public parking garage is at 10 minutes walk where you can park your car for €6,00 euro per day (Olympic Stadium Parking Garage).
